When I first saw this book - I thought "They FINALLY came out with a book that says it all - THE NO SHIT DIET".....but then I actually read it....
Book is by Reinhard Engels and Ben Kallen.
NO Snacks, NO Sweets, NO Seconds....I think my title worked better.
This weeks diet allows just the three meals a day and eliminates the in between snacks, the sugars and the second helpings.........In addition you should follow the only eating three meals a day (get this) except on Saturday, Sundays & Special Days. (days that start with "S")
There are no set meal plans. No special foods. You eat at regular meal times but only one plate. You can have anything you want, except things with sugar in them - not just the regular cakes, candies....ANYTHING. So if you like peanut butter - you need to get sugar free. If you drink juice it has to be sugar free. If you want a slice of bread - it can not have sugar in it.
On the "S" days (Saturday,Sunday & Special Days) it is recommended that you do not go overboard. Meaning you can have that little bit of sugar - but don't ruin what you worked hard for all week.
Diet seems easy to follow. No calorie counting, do not have to give up favorite foods (too much...unless sugar is a problem),
There are Recommended Foods:
Eggs, Chicken, brown rice, pasta, potato, oatmeal, grape nuts, beef, fish, turkey, peanut butter, cheese and rye bread.
Exercise:
Recommends exercising on all days not starting with an "S". Moderate, consistent approach is best, no need to overly push yourself as it is not deemed necessary for successful weight loss.
