Down .4 pounds for week. It's a loss. Not a great loss, but a loss.
I found sugar water (and olive oil) did nothing.
It was basically having a glass of water an hour before a meal. One helpful hint listed on some diets say to have a glass of water a 1/2 hour before a meal to fill you up. Having the sugar added (or olive oil) I felt did nothing. The sugar water was much easier to get down. The olive oil, not so much. It actually grossed me out.
I did eat more foods that I have been missing (especially due to BBQ season) but I still tried to stay semi-low calorie.
This is a short summary.
I would not do again. In reading the book more the success (or not so success) stories in book provided a good insight to where I might be an the end of this week. Some said they lost and some said they gained. I lost .4 pounds. It is. what it is.
I would rather just have the glass of water before each meal (who needs the extra calories from sugar or olive oil???)
