Down 1.5 pounds for the 10 days. The diet outline said you can lose about 1-2 pounds a week so I fell right in line.
It was a pretty good week overall. There was no searching for a specific food or supplement, I was able to eat pretty much what I wanted (again I tried to stay fairly healthy) and no special prepping required of meals.
In starting this round of diets, I had chosen to do this diet for 10 days being that I knew there was going to be fasting involved and in order to get a real groove on I wanted to make sure I could do the fasts in an organized manner. I was able to coordinate my meals and fasting in a way to get three fast days in. The fast days were not hard until the final 3-4 hours before I could eat again. I started (2) of the fasts at about 8pm and (1) about 3pm as far as which time was easier to do - it's a toss up.
I am not a late night eater - so starting the fast at 3pm I was good to go until about 11:30am the next day and then I couldn't stop thinking about what I was going to eat when the time came. Starting the fast at 8pm, I was pretty good until about 5-6pm the following day, I was able to take a nap mid-way on the first day I did the fast and that really helped.
What I found to be pretty great about this diet was that after the fast, when the time came to eat something I felt fuller faster. I did not feel the need to gorge myself. I am not going to say that the anticipation of being able to eat in those 2-4 hours before didn't give me thoughts of gorging - I really just did not feel like it after I started to eat something.
Would I consider doing this diet again...YES. Could I do it long term - I think I could. The fasting is hard but being able to pretty much eat what I wanted and fasting sporadically worked for me.
