While today is the last day of the 5 Day DASH diet and I have pretty much stayed the same, it's been completely satisfying. This diet being a lower salt diet really made an impression on me. Being I got my period this week and if ask pretty much any woman how they feel durig "that time of the month" (specifically- are they bloated) and you will get a definitive YES. I did have a bloated feeling for about a day & a half but clothes that normally fit me very well (no extra room) I was able to wear this week without any change. I would normally choose looser and more comfortable clothes - but I really didn't feel the need to. In addition, I would of gained this week and I did have a slight bump in weight but not much.
Breakfast: 1-1/2 cups Fiber One cereal (no sugar has aspartame) with 1 cup fat free milk and 1 small banana
Lunch: 2 slices whole wheat bread with 1 slice Cabot 50% Reduced Fat Cheddar, 2 ounces Boars Head low sodium turkey breast,
Snacks: 15 grapes
Dinner: Bow Tie Pasta Salad ,4 ounces grilled chicken breast, 1 chopped tomato, tossed with 2 tablespoons low fat italian dressing, 1 apple
